In August of 2019, Judson University hired me as the Program Director for Organizational Leadership. One evening Judson hosted a networking event for the traditional students. I heard that the guest speaker was a graduate of Judson in the Organizational Leadership Program. I knew that I must attend this event. Kesha Kent was the guest speaker that night. She immediately impressed me with her energy, the exactness in her vocal articulations, and more. Her message was poignant and timely. She contrasted transactional events (one-night stands) with transformation encounters in networking. She exuded power and confidence that night, and I’ve been following her ever since. According to Review42.com, 85% of positions are filled through networking. 95% of professionals consider face to face communication vital for long term business. How does one achieve a transformational encounter?
